A Glovetopus is a stuffed octopus you can make from a pair of gloves.
The ocean, of course. Where the coral reefs meet the open sea. There and from the brain of Peter Gardner.
To make you laugh.... And to maybe make a little money.

Show the world that you know how to make a Glovetopus.
A black bumper sticker which says "You can't spell Glovetopus without Lovetopus".
Measure the circumference of the head of your Glovetopus. Add four to six inches and divide by two. This will give you the width needed for each of the two pieces of felt you'll use for the hat. The height is a matter of taste, but 4 inches will probably work for your.
Take two pieces of felt you think are about the right size. Put one behind the Glovetopus and the other in front. Pinch the bottom corners of the felt together, as in the diagram. If you have at least an inch on each side, you have enough felt.
If you cut them both at the same time, they will match very well.
I like to use a running stitch (up and down through both pieces of fabric) for this. With the embroidery floss, it looks cute and graphic.
Again, the running stitch looks great.
